Wycombe Wanderers' Andre Vidigal Future Remains Uncertain
Wycombe Wanderers manager Michael Duff provides an update on the future of winger Andre Vidigal, who has not trained with the team all summer. The 27-year-old Angolan player, who joined the Chairboys on a free transfer from Stoke City in February, became a free agent when his short-term contract expired in June.
According to Duff, the club is not ruling out a potential return for Vidigal. However, he refused to comment on the player's future, saying, 'We're talking about lots of things, but I'm not going to talk about people who aren't here.'
Vidigal played 13 times for Wycombe Wanderers in the 2025/26 season, scoring twice. His first goal came in a 2-0 away win at Cardiff City in March, before scoring his second and final strike in a 2-1 home loss versus Bradford City on Easter Monday.
Wycombe Wanderers currently sit 11th in League One, 63 points from the top, with a recent form of WLLDL. The team has scored 69 goals and conceded 58, resulting in a +11 goal difference. They are 40 points behind leaders Lincoln.
It remains to be seen whether Vidigal will return to Wycombe Wanderers, but the club is not closing the door on a potential comeback.
