Wycombe Wanderers manager Michael Duff has expressed his dissatisfaction with the team's mentality as they face dwindling hopes of reaching the League One play-offs this season. With just four games left to play, Duff believes that his players have not shown the necessary mindset following consecutive defeats to Stockport County and Bradford City. Currently sitting 11th in the league, the Chairboys are five points adrift of the top six and will be challenged further when they visit Huddersfield Town, Duff's former club, this Saturday. Duff stated, "I think that's the play-offs done for us now," highlighting the team's struggle to convert good performances into results. Despite impressive statistics in goal difference and goals scored, the club's position in the table remains disappointing. Since Duff took over in September, Wycombe has won 19 out of 41 matches, but recent form has seen them win only two of their last seven games. The manager emphasized the importance of the next four fixtures, stating that they present an opportunity for players to prove their commitment to the club moving forward. The upcoming matches include a home game against Blackpool and away fixtures against Lincoln City and Rotherham United, making it crucial for the team to finish the season strong.
