Wycombe Wanderers' Ewan Henderson scored the equaliser in the 2-1 home loss against Stevenage in the League Cup. The midfielder's transformation on the training ground has been one of the biggest positives of the summer, according to head coach Michael Duff. Henderson's goal was his first at Adams Park since arriving at the club in 2025, and he repeatedly switched play and created openings for Silko Thomas and Fred Onyedinma. Despite the loss, Henderson shone, orchestrating attacks throughout the opening 45 minutes while helping defensively. The 25-year-old's display continued an impressive summer that has caught the attention of his head coach. Wycombe's league season will start against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on August 15, with the team currently 11th in League One, 63 points, 17 wins, 12 draws, and 17 losses from 46 games, with a recent form of WLLDL. They are 40 points behind leaders Lincoln.
