| Wycombe Wanderers fans can now bid on a rare piece of their team's history, a vintage Subbuteo team set, donated to a charity shop in the town. The item, numbered 804, was originally released in 1994 when the Chairboys achieved promotion to Division 2, now known as League One.
Subbuteo, the iconic tabletop football game, became a fixture in homes across Britain during the second half of the 20th century. Team sets featuring lower league clubs were produced in far smaller numbers than those of top-flight sides, making surviving examples increasingly sought after.
The vintage Subboteo set is in pristine condition and has been priced at £65, with online shops selling similar versions at close to £100. The Salvation Army charity shop on White Hart Street is selling the item, and fans can place their bids.
As of the 2025-26 season, Wycombe Wanderers are 11th in League One, with 63 points from 46 games, and a recent form of WLLDL. The team has scored 69 goals this season, conceding 58, for a +11 goal difference. They are 40 points behind leaders Lincoln in the title race.
The donation of the vintage Subbuteo set is a rare find for fans, and the charity shop is looking forward to selling it off to the highest bidder.
