Wycombe Wanderers have signed Conor Hazard, a Northern Ireland international goalkeeper, from Plymouth Argyle. The 28-year-old goalkeeper made 91 appearances for Argyle over three seasons.
What happened?
Conor Hazard agreed to join Wycombe Wanderers after deciding not to accept the offer of a new contract from Plymouth Argyle.
Tom Stockwell, Wycombe's director of football strategy and data intelligence, said: "We’re happy to welcome Conor Hazard to the club as our first summer signing."
Why it matters for Wycombe Wanderers
With Conor's experience of League One and Championship football, as well as international football with Northern Ireland, Wycombe Wanderers are confident he will come in ready to hit the ground running.

What comes next?
As it stands, the only 'keeper under contract to Argyle for next season is apprentice Leo McCormick, with the departure of Hazard coming after Luca Ashby-Hammond, his back-up last term, was released last month. So that clearly now is a vital part of the squad that needs to be addressed by the Pilgrims ahead of the 2026/27 season. Conor Hazard will now take the next step in his career with Wycombe Wanderers, and Tom Stockwell believes he will be an 'excellent fit' with the club.
