Wycombe Wanderers is mourning the death of Quevin Castro, a former EFL striker who played against the team, at the age of 25. Castro made his debut for Burton Albion against Wycombe Wanderers in 2022.

What happened?

Quevin Castro joined Burton Albion on loan from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2022 and made his debut against Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park on July 30, 2022.

Career Overview

Castro also represented Notts County in the EFL, as well as playing for several Non-League teams, including Thetford Town, Mildenhall Town, and Leiston.

Tribute Planned

West Bromwich Albion will pay tribute to Quevin Castro on Sunday, with a period of applause in the 25th minute of the fixture against Burnley. As of the final 2025 table, Wycombe Wanderers stands 11th in League One, with 63 points from 46 games, and a recent form of WLLDL.
